Fostering Success Program

If during the summer ASCs are meeting with students from foster care,
unaccompanied homeless youth, kinship care, orphan, ward of court,
emancipated or other independent backgrounds, they can refer students to
the Fostering Success Program. Independent students can join the
following days and times for FSP Orientation Sessions at https://zoom.us/j/95252323153:  

• Friday, June 17^th from 12:00pm-1:00pm 
• Tuesday, June 28^th from 5:30pm-6:30pm 
• Thursday, July 7^th from 10:00am-11:00pm 

President’s Leadership Program

• Track 1: Students accepted into PLP
  • A few days before their orientation date, students will be emailed
    PLP course registration information with CRNs. Mo will provide course
    overrides.
  • In cases of conflicting exam times, time conflict overrides may be submitted by Orientation staff.
• Track 2: Students interested in PLP
  • Throughout Orientation, PLP will be reviewing applications and
    interviewing interested students. They will be asked to leave Tuesdays
    from 4-6pm available during registration to allow for their PLP course
    if accepted. Mo will provide the course override and offer guidance on
    course registration after the student is accepted.

• PLP Student List – Coming Soon!

• • Each one of these folks has received an override into a respective section of PLP.
  • Advisors can submit a “time conflict” override for conflict test
    schedules through the advising dashboard. We’ll work individually with
    the student to make up class.
  • We’ll continue to send an updated list as students confirm registration or decide not to participate in PLP.
  • Mo Moreira ([email protected]) will be the main contact for students in PLP regarding Orientation.
    • She will send students communication regarding any registration information.
