Student Retention and Graduation Data... So What? Workshop

Description:

Data is a part of life personally and professionally, and in advising. However, there are different data types and it is important to know what they are and how they complement one another. Advisors have intuitive data about the student experience, that is, you have an understanding of how students succeed at the university, where they might struggle, and the best and worst of the student experience. Sometimes this data can be forgotten as we scale up with tech solutions. How do we understand advisor data in the context of student success data? Stop feeling overwhelmed, check back in, and re-engage with the data. Data that is both intuitive and algorithmic and, in this session, we are going to explore the connection..
